Our Values

Our Values

Special thanks to Maui fine artist Avi Kiriaty for allowing us to share his painting "Banana Girl". Find out more about this work HERE.

E komo māi, welcome!

Thank you so much for being here. We aspire to portray the magnificent beauty of Hawaiʻi in an authentic way. We do this through our work on the North Shore of Maui with fresh, organic plants grown on the Islands.

These times are highlighting the importance of the true meaning of Aloha. It is a powerful, sacred word which at its origin means to share breath - to share life itself. It is the spirit that drives everything about ʻAlohi Maui. Using our products is an act of care: self-care, care for others, and care for the earth.

This is a time of change and as a business, we think it is time to do things differently. We are inspired by age-old Hawaiian values:

Mālama - Care and protection. Just as Hawaiian plants so generously promote our well-being, we care for our Island home. Every purchase supports local charities.

ʻIke Pono - Clarity of thought and action. To know and do what is right. We make no compromises to make the finest artisanal skincare possible and leave a light footprint.

Kūleana - Responsibility that extends beyond self to the community. We support the local economy and aim to create a circular business model by reusing existing materials and products.

Lōkahi - Unity & harmony. Despite these difficult times, we believe that it is possible to create a better world. That what is broken can be restored to unity and health.

We are here to serve you and help you experience the natural beauty of your skin. Congratulations on finding us! Thank you for being part of this journey.

Mālama Pono,

Joelle
